Xnomadic is my record of the road, and I want you to know how it works, how it earns, and what it stands for. If you’re reading my stories, you deserve to understand where they come from.
To keep this site alive while I travel, I rely on two things: affiliate links and sponsorships.
When I recommend a backpack, a lens, or a travel service and you buy it through my link, I may earn a commission.
You don’t pay anything extra, but it helps me cover the costs of keeping Xnomadic running while I keep moving. Sponsorships also play a part, but I don’t take them lightly.
I only partner with brands I’ve tested, carried, or used myself. If I wouldn’t trust it on my own journey, I won’t recommend it here.
Everything you read comes from my own experience. No sponsor gets to decide what I write, how I write it, or whether something belongs on the site at all. I’ve turned down offers, even big ones, because they didn’t meet my standard. What I publish is shaped by the road itself. Gear that held up, places that surprised me, mistakes that cost me, and lessons I don’t want you to learn the hard way.
All of the writing on Xnomadic is mine. I don’t use AI to draft, edit, or structure any of it. At most, I’ll lean on it for background research or to speed up travel data, but the words, the photos, and the reflections are human.
They’re the result of being there, seeing it firsthand, and taking the time to write it down. When I describe a sunrise in Kenya, a crowded alley in Hanoi, or the camera gear that survived dust and heat, it’s because I lived it.
What matters to me most is usefulness.
If something I write doesn’t help you travel smarter, make better choices, or avoid the mistakes I’ve made, it doesn’t get published.
I’m not chasing keywords or following trends, I’m documenting the life I’m building, step by step. That often means writing about things no search tool would ever suggest, but that still matter to anyone trying to shape their own journey.
Xnomadic is about living the process of becoming a nomad, city by city, mistake by mistake, discovery by discovery. It’s about learning what actually works, and passing it on.
If something I’ve written feels unclear, or if you think I’ve missed the mark, I want to hear from you. You can always reach me at [email protected].
